1:10, 1:18, 1:24, 1:32, 1:34, 1:100 Scale - Indication of relative size of a diecast vehicle. Sometimes indicated with a slash, as in "1/18" scale. See the Guide to Scale for a more in-depth look.

Adjustable Steering - A feature found in some diecast cars that allows the front wheels to be turned. Please note that this is different from "workable steering" since the steering wheel is not used to control the front wheels.

Blister Packaging - Packaging consisting of a protective plastic and/or cardboard shell. A hole or J-hook allows the item to be hung.

B/O- Abbreviation for "Battery Operated"

Bubble Packaging - Packaging consisting of a protective plastic shell that wraps over an item. This allows the item to be seen from the top and sides. These items sit on shelves and cannot be hung.

Bump-n-Go - An action feature in which the toy changes directions after bumping into an object.

Cartelli Rims/Wheels - a popular type of rims/wheels that can be found on some diecast cars. See the Toy Wonders Guide to Wheels & Rims for visual reference.

Case Lot - A larger quantity of an item packaged direct from the manufacturer. Items bought bought in case lot quantity are often discounted because they do not need to be unpacked and re-packed for shipment.

Case Pack - Same as a Case Lot. See definition above.

cu-ft - Abbreviation for "Cubic Feet"

F/W- Abbreviation for "Free Wheel". See definition below.

Free Wheel - Or "Free Wheeling". Refers to a diecast vehicle in which the wheels are free to spin (not being friction powered or pull back motored).

Friction Powered - A motor that moves a vehicle along when the wheels are pushed forward on the ground. No batteries are needed.

Full Function - Radio Control or Remote Control cars with full function control can move forward, reverse, left, right, and also turn when moving forward or in reverse. Full function control vehicles feature two motors and two channels.

Header Card - A cardboard flap that fits over an item packaged in a plastic bag. The header card displays the name of the item and allows the item to be hung.

IC - Abbreviation for "Integrated Circuit". A small chip that allows toys to play pre-recorded sounds/music and perform other functions.

Inner - Shorthand for "Inner Carton". Smaller cardboard containers inside a case pack that each house a portion of the items. Please note that not all items are packed with inner cartons.

IR Control - Shorthand for "Infrared" Control. Vehicles controlled by infrared need to have the controller directly pointed at them.

KMC Rims/Wheels - a popular type of rims/wheels that can be found on some diecast cars. See the Toy Wonders Guide to Wheels & Rims for visual reference.

lbs. - Abbreviation for "Pounds"

LCD - Abbreviation for "Liquid Crystal Display". A viewing screen that displays words and/or graphics (depending on the toy).

LED - Abbreviation for "Light Emitting Diode". A small bulb that emits a light, lasts a long time, and uses very little power.

Lorenzo Rims/Wheels - a popular type of rims/wheels that can be found on some diecast cars. See the Toy Wonders Guide to Wheels & Rims for visual reference.

Low Rider - A car with a suspension that is very low to the ground. This brings the chassis of the car very low as well. Low riding cars are also known as "street low". See Toy Wonder's line of Low Rider cars.

Mhz - Abbreviation for "Megahertz"; used for indicating radio frequencies for radio control vehicles. Frequencies for radio control are 27 Mhz and 49 Mhz. Different frequencies prevent interference if someone else is also playing with a radio control toy. Please check toy descriptions for details on MHz used for toy.

P/B - Abbreviation for "Pull Back Motor". See definition below.

pcs - Abbreviation for "pieces" as in "12 pcs/display".

Pull Back Motor- A motor that moves a vehicle along after the vehicle is pulled backwards on the ground. No batteries are needed.

R/C - Abbreviation for "radio controlled".

Scale - Indication of relative size of a diecast vehicle. Sometimes indicated with a slash, as in "1/18" scale or a colon, as in "1:18". See the Guide to Scale for a more in depth look.

Single Channel - a radio control vehicle with forward and reverse controls and one motor only. Often vehicles with single channel radio control move in reverse and turn at the same time.

Sleeping Eye - A feature found in some dolls. The eyes are weighted in a way that closes the dolls eyes when the doll lies on its back.

Spring Suspension - A feature found in some diecast cars. Wheels are spring supported. When they are pushed in they will spring back out.

Street Low - A car with a suspension that is very low to the ground. This brings the chassis of the car very low as well. Low riding cars are also known as "low riders". See Toy Wonder's line of Street Low cars.

Tool - an alternate word for the mold used to make a diecast car at the factory.

Try Me Box - a toy with a demonstration feature that can be activated while in its packaging.

WC - Abbreviation for "Wire Control"

Wire Control - A type of vehicle controlled through a connected wire rather than by radio control or infrared control.

Window Box - A type of packaging that features a see-through window on one or more sides.

Workable Steering - A feature found in some diecast cars. Turning the steering wheel of the car turns the front wheels, just like with real cars.

W/U - Abbreviation for "Wind Up".
